How to use this qr code generator

Paste a URL or any text, pick error correction and size, then click Generate QR. The PNG is drawn on your device.

Download the image or copy a data URL. Higher error correction survives more damage but stores less payload. Scan it with the QR Code Scanner to confirm.

Example

Encoding https://toolixo.net produces a square matrix you can print or drop into a slide. Keep the payload short for easier scanning.

Frequently asked questions

Is a QR code generated on the server?

Processed locally in your browser. We do not upload the text to compute a result.

What error correction should I use?

M is a solid default. Use H if the code will be printed small or partly covered by a logo.

Can I encode Wi-Fi or a vCard?

Yes. Paste the full string (WIFI: or BEGIN:VCARD). This tool encodes bytes; it does not build those formats for you.

PNG or SVG?

This version downloads PNG. Copy the data URL if you need to embed the image in HTML.
